Great Ocean Road Sunset Tour Itinerary
A Great Ocean Road Tour is a must for your Melbourne itinerary. There’s nothing quite like witnessing the spectacular sunset over the magical Twelve Apostles on this 1-Day Great Ocean Road Sunset Tour.
Leaving Melbourne, we travel west through Victoria’s second-largest city, Geelong, before heading south for a quick rest stop at Anglesea. From there, we continue to Kennett River, where you can do some koala spotting in the nearby eucalyptus trees. Stop here for lunch (own expense), or continue further along the Great Ocean Road to Lorne
After lunch we’ll explore the dramatic coastline of the Shipwreck Coast in Port Campbell National Park. You’ll hear the fascinating tales of the area’s shipwreck history and have time to wander around Loch Ard Gorge and the Razorback.
The highlight of the tour comes as we arrive at the world-famous Twelve Apostles to enjoy a spectacular sunset. These breathtaking limestone stacks are an awe-inspiring sight, especially as they’re illuminated by the warm glow of the setting sun.
We’ll make one final rest stop for dinner in Colac before returning to Melbourne to conclude the tour.
